Ghirardelli Square – Passenger Cabs

Project Details

Our customer wanted to bring the history of the old Woolen Mill building to these two elevator interiors. We worked with our laminate supplier to build a custom panoramic photo into the laminate spreading across the side and back walls. To add a more rustic feel, we used galvanized steel for the handrail and metal grating for the ceiling diffusers, a couple non-standard materials. Hot rolled steel was used for the reveals and base.
