OUR PROCESS
FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE IMPORTANT.
The same goes for your building.
UEI takes a hands-on approach to project management; from initial on-site survey to final installation. We’ll help you select the right products and steer you clear of products that don’t work well in elevators. Materials that go in an elevator move all day long and are subjected to unusual wear and tear. Just ask us, we’ve seen it all!
Initial Consultation
One of the first questions we’ll ask is, “What is your budget?” We ask this to ensure your vision and budget are aligned.
Site Review
We will perform a detailed cab survey to better understand any design constraints or weight issues.
Design & Material Selection
This step is generally where we spend the most time. We’ll provide pricing iterations on selected materials to keep your budget in check.
Proposal Review & Approval
Once the design and material step is complete, we'll formalize everything into a proposal.
Sign Contract
Signing the contract officially gets the ball in motion.
Shop Drawing Development
Shop drawings are where all the vision comes together in the form of a very detailed set of drawings. If necessary, we'll included a photorealistic rendering.
Shop Drawing & Sample Review & Approval
Once the shop drawings are completed, we send them to you for your approval.
Order Materials
Once the shop drawings are approved, we order material.
Fabrication
Using the approved shop drawings, our craftsmen will fabricate your cab interiors.
Installation
This is the final phase of the building cycle, but not the final phase of our relationship with you. Once the cab interiors are completed and installed, we welcome your feedback on the outcome of the project.
Mock-Up
We build a full-scale elevator mock-up for you to review and approve. *Optional add-on.
