If you’ve already purchased a Set with specific legs heights, you can simply add another leg of differing
height to your Motorvator™ aresenal. This will help with those offset support conditions,
like you might find when manuvering through stair landings.

Basic Product Details:

  • Short Leg extends from 37″ to 57″
  • Standard Leg extends from 62″ to 110″
  • Tall Leg extends from 133″ to 181″
  • The legs are adjustable from a min to a max height as noted in the table graphic and are adjustable to within ¼” inch
  • Leg base is 30” wide
  • Height range is measured from the base of support to bottom of beam

Q: Looking at the leg size table, where are these dimensions taken from?
A: Bottom of support to bottom of beam

Q: When would I use two different leg sizes?
A: Once the leg size reaches its maximum extension, you will need a way to reach higher or, lower. We often see different leg sizes used in stairwell rigging applications where you are navigating at different landing heights.

Q: Do you offer a beam trolly?
A: We do not currently. However, it is something we are considering.

Q: What is the maximum allowable pick angle?
A: Zero degrees. Any off-centerline pick creates the potential for tipping. All picks should be made directly below the beam centerline and, between the leg supports.

Q: Am I able to pick anywhere along the length of the beam?
A: Yes. If the pick is at the beam centerline and the load is within the table values, you can make a pick at any location on the beam between the leg supports.

Q: Can I use the Motorvator in a cantilevered configuration?
A: No. All picks should be made between the leg supports.

Q: Is this hoist frame rated?
A: Yes. The design has been stamped by a registered professional engineer.

Q:  What do I do if I ordered the wrong item?
A:  Please refer to our refund-return-exchange policy or give us a call.

Q: Do you offer other products not currently on your web site?
A:  Yes. Please use the request a quote form or, give us a call and we can talk.

Q: Can I buy an additional leg?
A: Yes. It is very common to purchase an additional leg of differing size(s) to solve a variety of rigging problems where one support surface is beyond the leg size set you already own.

Q: Can I disassemble each leg so it is easier to carry?
A: Yes. See the details tab for specific component weights


UEI only ships to the lower 48 states. If you are located in some other location, please call us. We’d be happy to arrange logistics with you.

Product Warranty

Unique Elevator Interiors warrants its products shall be free of defects in workmanship and materials for the period of 1 year. The warranty period begins once the customer receives the product. Unique Elevator Interiors agrees to repair and/or replace products that may prove defective within a reasonable time after notice has been given. Defective work is defined as the failure of workmanship, materials, or finished product to perform as intended as outline in the product guidelines or by UEI. If defective, UEI will provide a replacement part at our cost.

Items not covered by this warranty:

  • Ordinary wear and tear
  • Use outside the product guidelines
  • Defects or damage caused by deliberate or malicious acts
  • Abuse, neglect, or lack of routine maintenance
  • There is no implied warranty of fitness for particular purpose
  • Parts not supplied by UEI

Refund – Return – Exchange Policy


  • All returns and exchanges must be completed within 30 days after receipt of product
  • UEI shipped the wrong item: UEI will bear the cost of shipping and will decide with you for the item’s return
  • Customer ordered wrong item: Customer is responsible to pay shipping costs to return the item in like-new condition. Once received, UEI will inspect the item and if in like-new condition, UEI will provide a refund (see refunds), minus a 20% restocking fee
  • Exchange an Item: UEI will treat this like a new transaction and will follow the Customer ordered wrong item process
  • Length of time for returns: UEI will accept returns on items if notified within 7 days of when the items was delivered to the customer. Item must be in transit back to UEI within 14 days of delivery in order to qualify for refunds. Tracking verification required


  • Refunds will be issued back to the credit card used in purchasing
  • If qualified for a purchase based on a PO issuance (requires UEI approval), UEI will issue a check to the purchasing company in the amount of the refund
  • Refunds will not be issued for items returned beyond the times as outlined in the Length of time for returns outlined in the Returns
