Wire Rope Spool

The Wire Rope Spool is a specialty tool that gives the elevator mechanic the ability to quickly, cleanly and safely wind-up old wire rope during an elevator modernization.

What problems does it solve?
Based on the feedback we’ve received from mechanics actually using the product, it solves 4 problems:

1. Provides the ability to control the winding to a manageable size and weight
2. Keeps the winding organized for easier portability and disposal
3. It helps keep the work area clean providing a safer working environment
4. Field tested

The overall height is about 50″, the base width and depth are 38″x18″ and the wheel diameter is 37″
